אם מעולם לא התחברתם
אין אצלנו שום חשבון ושום נתון שלכם. הכל נמצא רק בטלפון ובגיבוי שלו. כדי למחוק: מוחקים ילדים בהגדרות, או מוחקים את האפליקציה מהטלפון. עותק שנשמר בגיבוי של הטלפון (iCloud או גיבוי גוגל) נמחק לפי הגדרות הגיבוי של הטלפון.
אם התחברתם ולא הפעלתם שיתוף
נשמרו אצלנו רק פרטי ההתחברות (כתובת המייל, ובהתחברות עם Google גם השם וקישור התמונה), בלי נתוני משפחה. החשבון נמחק אוטומטית 30 יום אחרי הכניסה האחרונה. כדי למחוק אותו מיד, שלחו בקשה במייל (דרך 2 למטה).
אם הפעלתם שיתוף או הצטרפתם למשפחה: יש לכם חשבון אצלנו
כשמפעילים שיתוף, מצטרפים למשפחה או מחזירים משפחה בטלפון חדש, מתחברים עם Apple, עם Google או עם מייל. בשרת שלנו נשמרת אז כתובת המייל שלכם (או כתובת פרטית שהסתירה Apple, ובהתחברות עם Google גם השם וקישור התמונה ש Google מעבירה). זה חשבון לכל דבר, ולכן אפשר למחוק אותו בשתי דרכים.
1. בתוך האפליקציה (הכי מהיר)
- פותחים את הגדרות, ויורדים לאזור הורים.
- לוחצים מחיקת החשבון והנתונים מהשרת.
- בוחרים אחת משתי האפשרויות:
- לעזוב ולמחוק רק אותי: החשבון שלכם, כתובת המייל והשם שבחרתם במשפחה נמחקים מהשרת מיד. התנועות שהוספתם נשארות במשפחה כדי שהיתרות של הילדים יישארו נכונות, ומוצגות כ"הורה לשעבר", בלי השם שלכם. אם אתם הבעלים ויש הורים נוספים, הבעלות עוברת אוטומטית להורה הוותיק ביותר. אם אתם ההורה היחיד, המשפחה כולה נמחקת.
- למחוק את כל המשפחה לכולם (רק לבעלים): כל הילדים, היעדים, התנועות, המטלות, האירועים, המשאלות ורשומת הרכישה נמחקים מהשרת לכל ההורים.
- בוחרים אם להשאיר עותק בטלפון כמשפחה מקומית, או למחוק גם מהטלפון.
- אם התחברתם עם Apple, Apple תבקש מכם לאשר לפני המחיקה, ובמחיקה אנחנו מבטלים מול Apple את ההרשאה של האפליקציה בחשבון ה Apple שלכם. אם הביטול נכשל מסיבה טכנית, החשבון אצלנו נמחק בכל זאת, ואפשר להסיר את Nickelby בעצמכם: הגדרות האייפון, השם שלכם, "התחברות עם Apple".
- מקלידים מחיקה ולוחצים למחוק מהשרת.
2. בבקשה במייל, בלי האפליקציה
מתאים למי שמחק את האפליקציה או החליף טלפון. שלחו בקשה מכתובת המייל שבה התחברתם: כי אנחנו שומרים את הכתובת הזו, אפשר לאמת שהבקשה באה ממי שמחזיק בחשבון, בלי קודים ובלי פרטים נוספים.
הנושא "מחיקת נתונים Nickelby". ציינו אם למחוק רק אתכם או את כל המשפחה (רק לבעלים). נמחק את החשבון ונאשר לכם במייל, תוך 30 יום ולרוב מהר מזה. אם בחרתם ב Apple להסתיר את המייל, הדרך הפשוטה היא מתוך האפליקציה (דרך 1). אם אין לכם גישה לאפליקציה, כתבו לנו את שם הילדים והשמות שבחרו ההורים, ונזהה את החשבון לפי זה.
אם אי אפשר לזהות את המשפחה, היא נמחקת אוטומטית אחרי 13 חודשים שבהם אף הורה לא סנכרן. אם הורה אחר במשפחה עדיין משתמש, הוא יכול להסיר אתכם מהמשפחה, וגם זה מוחק את השם שלכם מיד.

נשאר זמנית גם אחרי מחיקה:
- גיבויים: ספק השרת לא שומר אצלנו גיבויים אוטומטיים של המסד, ולכן מה שנמחק לא נשאר בגיבוי שלנו.
- לוגים טכניים של ספק השרת (כולל כתובת IP): יום אחד, לאבטחה.
- ניסיונות הזנת קוד הזמנה: 7 ימים.
- עותקים של מיילי קוד הכניסה בתיבה היוצאת של [email protected]: עד 30 יום.
- הבקשה שלכם במייל: המייל נשמר בתיבה של [email protected] כל עוד צריך כדי לטפל בבקשה ולאשר אותה.
מחיקת האפליקציה מהטלפון לבדה לא מוחקת את הנתונים מהשרת.
מחיקה חלקית, בלי למחוק את החשבון
- ילד: הגדרות, הילד, מחיקת ילד. 30 יום אפשר לשחזר, ואז הוא נמחק מהשרת לצמיתות עם כל מה שקשור אליו.
- תנועה, יעד, מטלה, אירוע או משאלה: נמחקים מהמסך מיד. בשרת התוכן (סכום, הערה, שם, מחיר ותאריכים) נמחק מיד, ונשאר רק סימון טכני של המחיקה בלי התוכן, כדי שהמחיקה תגיע לכל הטלפונים. הסימון נמחק עם הילד או המשפחה.

If you never signed in
We hold no account and no data of yours. Everything is only on your phone and in its backup. To delete: delete children in Settings, or uninstall the app. A copy in your phone's backup (iCloud or Google backup) is removed according to your phone's backup settings.
If you signed in and did not turn on sharing
We hold only your sign in details (your email address, and with Google also the name and photo link), with no family data. The account is deleted automatically 30 days after the last sign in. To delete it at once, send an email request (way 2 below).
If you turned on sharing or joined a family: you have an account with us
When you turn on sharing, join a family or bring a family back on a new phone, you sign in with Apple, Google or email. We then keep your email address on our server (or the private address Apple gave us when you hid yours, and with Google also the name and photo link Google shares). It is a real account, so you can delete it in two ways.
1. Inside the app (fastest)
- Open Settings and scroll to Parents.
- Tap Delete my account and data from the server.
- Choose one of two options:
- Leave and delete only me: your account, email address and the name you chose in the family are deleted from the server at once. If you leave, the entries you added stay with the family so the balances stay correct, shown as "Former parent", without your label. If you are the owner and there are other parents, ownership passes automatically to the parent who has been in the family the longest. If you are the only parent, the whole family is deleted.
- Delete the whole family for everyone (owner only): all children, goals, entries, chores, events, wishes and the purchase record are deleted from the server for every parent.
- Choose whether to keep a copy on this phone as a local family, or delete it from the phone too.
- If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm before the deletion, and on deletion we revoke the app's authorisation in your Apple account at Apple. If the revocation fails for a technical reason, your account with us is deleted anyway, and you can remove Nickelby yourself: iPhone Settings, your name, "Sign in with Apple".
- Type DELETE and tap Delete from the server.
2. By email request, without the app
For anyone who uninstalled the app or changed phones. Send the request from the email address you signed in with: because we keep that address, we can check that the request comes from the holder of the account, with no codes and no extra details.
The subject is "Nickelby data deletion". Say whether to delete only you or the whole family (owner only). We delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days, usually faster. If you hid your email with Apple, the simple way is inside the app (way 1). If you have no access to the app, write us the children's nicknames and the names the parents chose, and we will identify the account from those.
If the family cannot be identified, it is deleted automatically after 13 months in which no parent synced. If another parent in the family still uses the app, they can remove you from the family, which also erases your name at once.

Kept for a short time even after deletion:
- Backups: our server provider keeps no automatic backups of our database, so what is deleted does not remain in a backup of ours.
- Server provider technical logs (including IP address): one day, for security.
- Invite code attempts: 7 days.
- Copies of sign in code emails in the sent folder of [email protected]: up to 30 days.
- Your request by email: the email stays in the [email protected] mailbox as long as needed to handle and confirm the request.
Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the data from the server.
Partial deletion, without deleting the account
- A child: Settings, the child, Delete child. It can be restored for 30 days, then it is erased from the server for good with everything attached.
- An entry, goal, chore, event or wish: removed from the screen at once. On the server the content (amount, note, name, price and dates) is erased at once, and only a technical deletion mark without the content stays, so the deletion reaches every phone. The mark is deleted with the child or the family.
